セガのネットワーク対戦麻雀「MJ」において開催されている「咲-Saki-CUP」の歴史をまとめてみました。
咲-Saki-ファンとしては毎年の恒例行事となっており、夏あるいは冬の風物詩となっています。
個人的に大好きな作品＆好きな麻雀ゲームなので、これからも末永く続いて欲しいものですね。

第６回からアーケード版だけじゃなく、アプリ版でも同時開催されるようになりました。
こう見ると、初期の頃は基本的にアニメの放送に合わせて開催されていたんだなと言う事がわかりますね。
そう考えてみると、ここ最近はアニメをやっていないのに開催してくれているのは非常にありがたい話です。
そこそこ参加人数も多い大会のような気がするので、セガとしても開催したいのかもしれませんね。
